    "9/2/28, BIGGEST PLANE ARRIVES, Chicago, Ill.
    Photo is of the largest passenger airplane in operation in the United States
    , shown after it arrived at the municipal airport to-day, on
    its inaugural trip of the plane and train air service between Minneapolis
    and St. Paul. The plane has a seating capacity of fourteen, a wing spread of eighty five feet, a cruising speed of 110 miles an hour and a top speed of 140 miles an hour. It is equipped with triple motors, with a total horsepower of 1,300. A smoking compartment is one of the features.

    The Ford Trimotor (also called the "Tri-Motor", and nicknamed the "Tin Goose") is an American three-engined transport aircraft. Production started in 1925 by the companies of Henry Ford and ended on June 7, 1933. A total of 199 Ford Trimotors were made.[1] It was designed for the civil aviation market, but also saw service with military units."
